Salary: $47.30 hourly for 168 hours per month
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Dawson Creek, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation, Willing to travel, Travel expenses not paid by employer, and Public transportation is not available
Supervision: 5-10 people
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves, and Hard hat
Credentials:Â Standard First Aid Certificate, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate, and Rig Worker Fall Protection
Security and safety: Driver’s validity licence check, Drug test, and Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and be physically demanding
- The candidates should have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and good hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and be able to bend, crouch, and kneel
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate, flexible, and have efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, good judgment, and be reliable team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain drilling mud systems and pumps
- The candidates should be able to write daily basic progress reports
