Job Description:

Salary: $25.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Brush painting and Roller painting

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have strong attention to detail, be able to distinguish between colours, and be able to bend, crouch, and kneel
• The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate reliability, and flexibility, and be a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, repair cracks and holes, and mix paint to desired colour and texture
• The candidates should be able to erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
• The candidates should be able to apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
