Salary: $19.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Location: Edmonton, AB
Shifts: Day, 08:00 to 16:30

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work under pressure
• The candidates should be able to demonstrate attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling
• The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to demonstrate dependability
• The candidates should be able to exhibit excellent written communication skills
• The candidates should be able to stay organized
• The candidates should be able to work effectively as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents
• The candidates should be able to assemble containers and crates
• The candidates should be able to inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
• The candidates should be able to record shortages and reject damaged goods
• The candidates should be able to route goods to appropriate storage areas
• The candidates should be able to unpack goods received
• The candidates should be able to affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
• The candidates should be able to oversee loading and unloading of goods
