Salary: $27.50 hourly

Location: Whitehorse, YT, CA
Shift: 35 to 40 hours per week
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a minimum of Grade 12 education
Experience: Candidates should have previous dispatch experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be legally entitled to work in Canada and be a minimum of 21 years of age as per Transport Canada requirements
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks to support the trust built with passengers, partners, and communities
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should successfully pass initial and recurrent Transport Canada dispatcher competency checks
- The candidates should be able to obtain a Radio Certification and Security Clearance and an FAA Dispatcher License
- The candidates should show enthusiasm for contributing to the organization’s unique mission through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform operational flight watch and communicate with flight crew and provide support to related departments
- The candidates should be able to generate aircraft load plans as well as perform weight and balance calculations
