Salary: $16.00 to $45.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 50 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Vehicle supplied by employer and Valid driver’s licence
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Credentials: Backflow Prevention Certification, Plumber Trade Certification, Plumber Red Seal Certificate, and Gas Fitter Red Seal Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a physically demanding environment, bend, crouch, and kneel as needed
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate hand-eye coordination, handle heavy loads, and manage a large workload
- The candidates should be able to work overtime when required and work under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate, be client-focused, and have efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have excellent oral and written communication, and good judgment
- The candidates should be team players
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors, and cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
- The candidates should be able to join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment, and test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
- The candidates should be able to measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size
