Salary: $16.62 to $22.30 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate manual dexterity, pay attention to detail, and demonstrate hand-eye coordination
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel as needed, and work overtime as required
  • The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to show efficient interpersonal skills, communicate effectively with excellent oral skills, and demonstrate flexibility
  • The candidates should be able to maintain reliability, work effectively as a team player

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to transport fish and shellfish to work area, condition fish filets for wrapping or freezing, and weigh fish or shellfish, record weight, and pack fish in ice
  • The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas, measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, and sort fish according to species, weight, and destination
  • The candidates should be able to clean work area
