Salary: $25.02 to $26.56 hourly (To be negotiated) for 78.75 hours bi-weekly
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Area of specialization:Â Geriatrics
Credentials:Â CPR Certificate, Licensure as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse by Provincial Authorities, and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety:Â Criminal Record Check, Immunization Records, Tuberculosis Test, Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Vulnerable Sector Check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure and perform repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks, demonstrate manual dexterity, and show attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to distinguish between colours, exhibit sound discrimination, and manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, manage a large caseload, and work overtime when required

- The candidates should be accurate, client-focused, and demonstrate dependability
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, have excellent oral communication, and showcase excellent written communication

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide safety and health education to individuals and their families and provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
- The candidates should be able to monitor patients’ progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team
