Salary: $30.50 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Nordegg, AB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Guide specialization: Hunting (firearms)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate manual dexterity, work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to walk, bend, crouch, and kneel
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should focus on the client, demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, and exhibit excellent oral communication
- The candidate should be flexible, take initiative, and exercise good judgement
- The candidate should be organized, reliable, and be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain firearms, advise on specific regulations such as hunting and fishing laws and boating regulations, follow environmental guidelines and prevent violations, and plan trips
- The candidates should be able to set up and take down camps
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
