Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a high school diploma
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment precast concrete experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly, be comfortable performing repetitive tasks, including kneeling and standing for extended period, be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime
  • The candidates should adhere to all safety protocols and properly use Holcim-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass qualitative and quantitative fit tests

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks and operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • The candidates should possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to position, assemble, or dismantle forms for concrete pouring under supervision
  • The candidates should be able to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant, either manually or using powered equipment
  • The candidates should be able to assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers, assist with minor repairs and routine maintenance
  • The candidates should be able to remove rubble and debris, clean excess concrete from molds, and maintain equipment cleanliness
  • The candidates should be able to participate in daily Pre-Production Meetings to understand daily objectives and tasks
  • The candidates should be able to complete Field Level Risk Assessments (FLRAs) before starting each task
  • The candidates should be able to maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company policies and safety procedures
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas, promoting a culture of safety and exhibiting these behaviors
