Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems
The candidates should be able to install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
The candidates should be able to locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
The candidates should be able to cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
The candidates should be able to join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment
The candidates should be able to test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
The candidates should be able to measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size
