Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as high school, a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 10 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • The candidate should have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly up to 10 hours per day

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be 18 years or older
  • The candidate should be able to operate 24/7 and in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidate should be able to adapt fresh challenges be it handling seasonal changeover, delivering fresh food as fast as possible, or stocking up for the holiday season, Associates with Walmart Logistics Canada ULC
  • The candidate should have skills such as being results-oriented, customer-centric, and performance-focused
  • The candidate should have the ability to have steel toed safety shoes/boots for first day and also other safety personal protective gear may be required as appropriate and will be provided

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be responsible for the preparation and picking of orders that are less than full case
  • The candidate should be able to improve the process, reduce environmental impact and innovate how to do business across the country
  • The candidate should be able to make the lives of customers easier every day
  • The candidate should be able to perform General Warehouse Duties including Load/Unload Trailers and also must be able to work Picking, Receiving and Shipping area as business dictates
  • The candidate should be able to perform duties such as stock replenishing and restocking of inventory / customer product and also maintain order filling performance expectation of the job function while maintaining picking accuracy
  • The candidate should be able to adhere to all Operations policies and procedures and also maintain associate related programs and procedures, including health and safety and housekeeping programs in order to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and company policy.
  • The candidate should be able to operate carts, dollies, hand trucks, forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment to move large quantities of merchandise and also operate material handling equipment (MHE); we provide special training to associates based on interest and availability
