Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, and flexible
- The candidates should be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
- The candidates should be able to cut carcasses, sides and quarters, cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
- The candidates should be able to remove bones from meat, cut poultry into parts
- The candidates should be able to clean and prepare fish and shellfish
- The candidates should be able to cut fish into steaks and fillets
- The candidates should be able to grind meats, slice cooked meats, prepare special orders
- The candidates should be able to shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood
