Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Equipment and machinery experience: Cutting machine, Hand tools
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Bondable

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
• The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
• The candidates should be willing to for overtime
• The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and more than 45 kg (100 lbs)
• The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
• The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
• The candidates should be able to work in noisy area, and dusty area

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be organized, flexible, and reliable
• The candidates should have excellent oral communication, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to clean work area, monitor machine during operation, affix seal or tags to approved products
• The candidates should be able to check manufactured items for defects and conformance to specifications
• The candidates should be able to load, feed or place materials into machine, sand, trim, grind or clean products into final form using hand tools
• The candidates should be able to screw, clip, glue, bond, weld or otherwise assemble parts and components to form final products
• The candidates should be able to cut, shape and fit materials to form parts and components
• The candidates should be able to mark defects to be repaired
• The candidates should be able to make minor adjustments and repairs
