Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or  French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years 
Credentials: First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Child Abuse Registry check, Child welfare check, Criminal record check, Driver’s validity licence check, Drug test, Medical exam, Reference required, and Basic security clearance

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be non-smokers
• The candidates should be committed to maintaining a scent-free environment in accordance with our workplace policies
• The candidates should be capable of lifting weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs) comfortably and safely

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household, including light housekeeping, cleaning duties,  shopping for food and household supplies
• The candidates should be able to travel with the family, assisting with child supervision, housekeeping duties, organizing activities such as games and outings for children
• The candidates should be able to wash, iron, press clothing and household linens, as well as bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
• The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents and instruct them in personal hygiene and social development
• The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children while maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home
• The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and change diapers for infants
• The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, take them to and from school, and attend appointments while tending to their emotional well-being
