Salary: $23.00 to $27.50 hourly (To be negotiated) 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 5501 Inlet Ave Sechelt, BC V0N 3A0
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre, Warehouse
Supervision: Staff in various areas of responsibility

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Outlook, Inventory control software.

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and handle heavy loads
• The candidates should be adept at managing tight deadlines, working under pressure, and comfortable with repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be accurate, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and demonstrate excellent oral communication
• The candidates should have a client-focused approach, be flexible, organized, and team players
• The candidates should uphold values and ethics, show initiative, exercise good judgment, be reliable, and proactive

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to monitor the movement of supplies and materials, co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units, and compile worksheets and specifications of orders
• The candidates should be able to create, investigate, track, and complete work orders, monitor production progress, and prepare and maintain progress and other reports
• The candidates should be able to provide customer service, train workers in duties and policies, resolve work-related problems, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and prepare and submit reports
• The candidates should operate radio equipment, maintain work records and logs, ensure the proper functioning of equipment, co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, keep track of shipments, follow-up on issues with work orders, organize warehouse and work areas, co-ordinate, assign, and review work, organize and maintain inventory, and plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization
