Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials and erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials, assist heavy equipment operators, and assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
- The candidates should be able to assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- The candidates should be able to direct traffic at or near construction sites, instruct apprentices, and clean and lubricate cranes
- The candidates should be able to operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials, operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into the earth, and operate gantry cranes to load and unload ship cargo at port side
- The candidates should be able to operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas, operate locomotive cranes to move objects and materials at railway yards, and operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move, and place plant machinery and materials
- The candidates should be able to operate offshore oil rig cranes to unload and reload supply vessels, operate cranes mounted on boats or barges to lift, move, and place equipment and materials, and assemble tower cranes on-site
