Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Responsible Beverage Service Certificate

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to demonstrate being of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages and address customers’ complaints or concerns
• The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
• The candidates should be able to advise on menu selections and balance cash and record sales
• The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs and greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
• The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages and take orders, relaying them to kitchen and bar staff
• The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs and provide customer service
