Salary: $24.00 hourly for 44 to 51 hours per week

Location: Kingsville, ON
Shifts: Day, Weekend, On Call
Work setting: Rural area
Supervision: More than 20 people
Type of crops: Cucumbers, Greenhouse tomatoes, Greenhouse vegetables, Herbs, and  Strawberries

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Agricultural crop service

• The candidates should have the physical endurance for tasks that are physically demanding
• The candidates should have attention to detail in their work

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers, ensuring farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
• The candidates should maintain quality control and production records, as well as work records and logs
• The candidates should be able to hire and train staff, operate, and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and perform general farm duties
