Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be physically capable of handling demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods as necessary and work effectively under pressure

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to take customers’ orders and serve them at counters or buffet tables
• The candidates should be able to prepare, heat, and finish simple food items and package take-out food
• The candidates should be able to wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, ensuring food is prepared fresh and ready for use
• The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, maintaining high hygiene standards
• The candidates should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars, ensuring ingredients are readily available for food preparation
• The candidates should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring efficient inventory management
• The candidates should be able to portion and wrap foods and package take-out food for customers’ convenience
• The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen area
• The candidates should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash, ensuring a clean and sanitary environment
• The candidates should be able to place dishes in the storage area, ensuring proper organization and storage of kitchen utensils and equipment
