Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure, demonstrating attention to detail
• The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and be prepared for physically demanding tasks, adept at performing repetitive tasks efficiently
• The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to carry and replace linen efficiently and clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units effectively
• The candidates should be able to operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware proficiently, sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand thoroughly, and scour pots and pans diligently
• The candidates should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used accurately, portion and wrap foods appropriately, and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items proficiently
• The candidates should be able to use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs effectively and clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment thoroughly
• The candidates should be able to handle and store cleaning products responsibly, receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas accurately, and remove kitchen garbage and trash promptly
• The candidates should be able to sharpen kitchen knives as needed, sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors diligently, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit proficiently
