Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have successful Completion of an Aircraft Maintenance Diploma
Experience: Candidates should have 4 years of experience and 2 years of previous relevant experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to work under minimal supervision, obtain an AVOP, and possess a valid driver’s license and excellent organizational skills, multitasking ability, and meeting deadlines
  • The candidates should obtain and retain an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess a Transport Canada M2 license, have experience on ATR 42 (an asset), and have experience on BOEING 737 and ATR or 737 Type course
  • The candidates should have superior interpersonal and communication skills for internal and external customers are necessary and ability to communicate in Inuktut

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to perform maintenance activities on the aircraft, including repairs, inspections, modifications, and aircraft movements, following all necessary procedures
  • The candidates should be able to be familiar with all procedures necessary for the maintenance or repairs of the aircraft and equipment, and perform work on aircraft and components as outlined by applicable work sheets, forms, work orders, Service Bulletins, and procedure manuals in conformity with accepted practices
  • The candidates should be able to ensure all work carried out is properly documented in accordance with the procedures manual and ensure the proper completion of Aircraft Parts Tags, both serviceable and unserviceable, completed or originated on shift
  • The candidates should be able to be responsible for the care and control of company publications, tools, and equipment, ensuring they are returned after use, and perform other duties as assigned
