Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of secondary school graduation
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of two years of administrative support or customer service experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be willing to work flexible hours, including varied shifts and overtime on short notice and be required to use a personal vehicle
  • The candidates should be willing to travel, including travel in adverse weather conditions and work in other geographical areas, including circuit court locations. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel with others

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have an equivalent (GED) and a minimum of two years of experience with clerical duties, office experience, or related education
  • The candidates should have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a cashier or in a cash-handling role
  • The candidates should have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in keyboarding, data entry, word processing, and working with standard computer applications and software programs Windows, MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • The candidates should have a keyboard speed of 40 words per minute and possess a valid B.C. driver’s licence
  • The candidates should have experience in court programs and applications JUSTIN, CEIS, ARC, CTAS and CCD
  • The candidates should have experience as a Court Clerk and Registry Clerk and one year of previous work experience in a legal environment
  • The candidates should have post-secondary education in business administration or business courses
