Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of complete WHMIS 2015 and HIPMA training within one month of hire
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to lift 15 lbs
  • The candidates should live and work in Pelly Crossing and ability to adapt to and implement change
  • The candidates should have the ability to prioritize and function with multiple interruptions
  • The candidates should have working in an office setting with extended periods spent on a computer preparing correspondence and reports (60% of the time) and handling sensitive, confidential personal information

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience providing client-centered services in a front-facing public environment, preferably in a health care or related setting
  • The candidates should have experience providing a broad range of administrative support in an office environment, including answering phones and directing calls, collaborating with other offices, services and supports, collecting and processing financial transactions invoicing, arranging, and taking payments
  • The candidates should have recent experience using a variety of computer software (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel and experience maintaining paper and electronic file management systems, including data entry
  • The candidates should have experience working with sensitive information in highly confidential settings and demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness
  • The candidates should have computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and knowledge of electronic filing and patient management systems
  • The candidates should have the ability to provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and effective organizational and time management skills
  • The candidates should be able to pass TB screening, RCMP security screening (vulnerable sector check), and have a valid Class 5 driver’s license
