Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents, or show proof of the right to work in Canada

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a valid Transport Canada “E” (AME-E) License and TC-approved endorsements on aircrafts operated by the company, such as B737 Classic, Next Generations aircraft, and ATR 42-300/320
  • The candidates should have successfully completed the required company indoctrination, general, and recurrent training
  • The candidates should be required to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to perform maintenance on aircraft instruments, avionics, and electrical systems and components
  • The candidates should be able to carry out systems testing in accordance with appropriate documentation such as Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Service Bulletins, and Engineering Orders
  • The candidates should be able to calibrate or adjust electronic equipment or instruments to specification and carry out troubleshooting procedures to isolate faults
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate work with engineers, technicians, and other aircraft maintenance personnel and conduct maintenance, repairs, and modifications to aircraft using approved tools, materials, and manuals
  • The candidates should be able to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, troubleshoot and rectify aircraft system defects and ensure the Company’s safety standards are adhered to at all times
  • The candidates should be able to ensure work accomplished is correctly documented and recorded and verify parts installed onto the aircraft are properly certified, prior to installation
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the work of apprentices and provide training or guidance for them to become Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) and ensure the Company’s hangar facilities, tooling, and equipment are maintained to industry standards
  • The candidates should be able to understand and comply with all regulatory requirements and Company policies, manuals, and documentation requirements in accordance with Airworthiness Certification Authority
  • The candidates should be able to liaise with Stores on parts needed, used, and accounted for and complete logbook entries and create and complete task cards and non-routine cards (NRC) and complete training courses and attend programs
