Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a High School diploma
Experience: Candidates should have at least 4 years of industry-related experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to successfully pass the pre-employment qualifying exam, physical evaluation, and a security check
  • The candidates should be available to work nights, evenings, and days, including weekends and holidays
  • The candidates should be willing to accept that the night shift is the permanent position for this posting, with the possibility of change based on seniority
  • The candidates should be eligible to work in Canada and the ability to pass and obtain an airside vehicle operator’s permit (Mandatory)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess a Transport Canada AME M2 or M1 license or be an Apprentice and possess a valid driver’s license
  • The candidates should possess a restricted radio operator’s permit and meet Air Canada’s medical standards, as this role involves safety-critical work. This includes passing a medical evaluation, drug and alcohol test, and being free of intoxicating substances
  • The candidates should be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations required for the work location
  • The candidates should be aware that obtaining any required work permits, visas, or other authorizations is their sole responsibility

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist the Property Management Officer in coordinating the allocation of Staff Housing units to individuals
  • The candidates should be able to provide reporting and administrative support for the staff housing portfolio
  • The candidates should be able to record any problems or complaints from tenants, landlords, or agents and work with the Property Management Officer to find solutions
  • The candidates should be able to receive notifications from Local Housing Offices (LHOs) on unit orders, maintenance management, tenant allocations, and walkouts
  • The candidates should be able to ensure accurate tenant data and property inventories are maintained
