Salary: $17.60 to $18.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Chilliwack, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Travel expenses paid by employer, Willing to travel regularly
Work setting: Amusement park, Staff accommodation available, Various locations
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, organized, flexible, judgmental.
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to set up rides and amusements, operate rides and amusements, operate game booth
- The candidates should be able to perform maintenance on rides and equipment, clean and maintain recreational facilities and grounds
- The candidates should be able to collect tickets and fees, and rent or sell sports and accessory equipment, assist patrons on and off rides
- The candidates should be able to secure and release safety belts and bars
- The candidates should be able to drive trucks, vans and other vehicles to transport amusement rides, games and other attractions to amusement attraction sites
