Salary: $29.00 to $32.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle physically demanding tasks, and bend, crouch, or kneel
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate hand-eye coordination, handle heavy loads, and manage a large workload
- The candidates should be able to work overtime when required, work under pressure, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be dependable, able to demonstrate excellent oral communication and excellent written communication
- The candidates should be reliable and a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
- The candidates should be able to install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
- The candidates should be able to install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
- The candidates should be able to repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
- The candidates should be able to instruct apprentices
- The candidates should be able to install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
