Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates must have a graduate degree (at least a master’s degree is required) in engineering, computer science, statistics, data science, or a related field
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have demonstrated excellence in teaching and pedagogical inquiry, encompassing the development and delivery of undergraduate and graduate courses, curriculum development, and supervision of student projects
- The candidates should showcase strong communication skills
- The candidates should hold an advanced degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field
- The candidates should possess a strong background and expertise in the subject matter
- The candidates should have demonstrated teaching excellence and a commitment to pedagogical innovation are essential qualifications for the role
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to teach introductory and advanced courses in data science, machine learning, deep learning, cloud data services, and related areas to graduate and undergraduate students from across the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering
- The candidate should be able to deliver high-quality teaching in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering courses
- The candidate should be able to develop and update course content to meet academic standards
- The candidate should mentor and engage with students in academic and research activities
- The candidate should be able to contribute to the ongoing development of the department’s curriculum
- The candidate should be able to participate in scholarly activities and research relevant to the field
