Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have High School diploma (or equivalent)
Experience: Candidates should have Six to nine months experience as an Assistant Leader

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
  • The candidates should have competency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting the 7Rewards loyalty program
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all applicable health and sanitation requirements to ensure the store is presentable, and that all products are in-stock

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the Store Leader, for all store employees
  • The candidates should demonstrate strength in maintaining high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity
  • The candidates should possess the ability to assist in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs
  • The candidates should exhibit excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should have proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred, such as Word, Excel)
  • The candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, but not required for candidates that have at least one year of Retail Management experience
  • The candidates should hold a valid driver’s license from the province of residence and maintain automobile liability insurance during employment

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to forecast, order, stock, and merchandise products (upon completion of training)
  • The candidates should be able to aid in ensuring prompt reconciliation of store operations paperwork
  • The candidates should be able to ensure prompt, efficient, and courteous guest service
  • The candidates should be able to aid in maintaining a clean, guest-friendly environment in the store
