Salary: $16.75 to $18.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to effectively work under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and exhibit excellent oral communication abilities
  • The candidates should demonstrate reliability in fulfilling their duties and be adept team players
  • The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions and display flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances
  • The candidates should show initiative in their work approach and be dependable in completing tasks
  • The candidates should maintain an organized approach to their work responsibilities

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs and deal with the public
  • The candidates should be able to perform services specific to the establishments in which their occupations are found and take, cancel, and change room reservations
  • The candidates should be able to receive and deliver items and messages for guests and provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • The candidates should be able to investigate and resolve complaints and claims and attend to group arrivals and departures
  • The candidates should be able to answer telephone calls and relay messages and perform clerical duties (i.e., faxing, filing, photocopying)
  • The candidates should be able to provide customer service and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
