Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a master’s degree in Audiology
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have active or eligible registration with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent, proven, and consistent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • The candidates should possess excellent, proven, and consistent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong commitment to excellent client-centered practice

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • The candidates should be able to screen, identify, assess, and manage patients with hearing and balance (vestibular) disorders
  • The candidates should be able to supervise students and provide clinical guidance to other staff members
  • The candidates should be able to interpret clinical findings, offer counselling on hearing loss and balance dysfunction, and develop intervention plans
  • The candidates should be able to provide information and recommendations to patients, families, and professionals, making referrals
