Work setting: Service, Urban area, In shop
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Specialization or experience: Green economy sector
Own tools/equipment: Gloves, safety glasses/goggles, and steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty environments, in noisy conditions, and be comfortable working outdoors
- The candidates should possess manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be prepared for physically demanding tasks, and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and be organized
- The candidates should exhibit reliability
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to inspect products to determine the requirements for repair
- The candidates should be able to repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power, or specially designed tools
- The candidates should be able to test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
- The candidates should be able to calibrate products using hand tools
