Canadian Tire based in Rivière-du-Loup, QC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Automotive partsperson – retail. Canadian Tire is a Canadian retail company which operates in the automotive, hardware, sports, leisure and houseware sectors. The company’s operations includes Canadian Tire, Mark’s, FGL Sports, PartSource, and the Canadian operations of Party City. We hire workers to fill labour or skill shortages on a temporary basis. Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must be bilingual
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 year to less than 2 years                                                                      Business Equipment and Computer Applications: The candidate must have knowledge of Internet and Inventory control software                                                                                                                                            Work Setting: Retail business

Responsibilities:

• The candidate should be able to advise on use and appropriateness of goods or parts
• The candidate should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns
• The candidate should be able to store items in warehouse, tool room or supply area
• The candidate should be able to sell spare and replacement parts
• The candidate should be able to process incoming requisitions
• The candidate should be able to prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies
• The candidate should be able to maintain records on inventory control system
• The candidate should be able to issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use
• The candidate should be able to receive, unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and materials
• The candidate should be able to identify, label and catalogue items received
• The candidate should be able to ship, deliver or pick up parts, products or equipment
• The candidate should be able to prepare and track work orders

• The candidate should be able to answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
• The candidate should be able to perform general office duties
• The candidate should be able to set-up displays of retail parts and accessories
• The candidate should be able to clean and maintain office, supply area or warehouse
