Job Description:

Position: Balloon pilot

Salary: $900 to $1,200 weekly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type:  Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Drumbo, ON
Shifts: Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Rural area, Remote location, and On-site customer service

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need any degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Credentials: Hot Air Balloon Pilot Licence and First Aid Certificate

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in hot conditions
• The candidates should be adept at thriving in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be able to work under pressure, demonstrating resilience in challenging situations
• The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads as part of their job requirements
• The candidates should be physically fit and able to meet the demands of a physically demanding role
• The candidates should possess manual dexterity, demonstrating skill and precision in tasks requiring hand coordination

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to operate off-road vehicles proficiently
• The candidates should be able to operate communication devices, including emergency communication equipment
• The candidates should be able to operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment effectively
• The candidates should be capable of maintaining equipment in good working condition
