Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to organize and set up the bar, perform short order cooking and food preparation, and clean the bar area and wash glassware
• The candidates should be able to serve food or snacks, clean the draft beer system, and advise on wine selection
• The candidates should be able to inform customers regarding the contents of cocktails or other drinks, collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payments for beverages, and operate the video lottery terminal
• The candidates should be able to record and balance beverage sales, store beverage and food products, and order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock
• The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages, and take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
