Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Hair styling techniques: Blow drying and Iron waving/curling
Hair colouring techniques: Bleach, Dyes/tints, and Streaking/highlights
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client-focused, demonstrate dependability, possess efficient interpersonal skills, exercise good judgment, and showcase reliability
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to cut and trim hair according to the client’s instructions or preferences, shampoo customers’ hair, and shave and trim beards and mustaches
- The candidates should be able to provide other hair treatments such as waving, straightening, tinting, and also provide scalp conditioning massages
- The candidates should be able to analyze hair and scalp condition, provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for the scalp and hair, and apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair
- The candidates should be able to cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair and suggest a hairstyle compatible with the client’s physical features or determine the style from the client’s instructions and preferences
