Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Equipment and machinery experience: Electronic cash register
Credentials: Food Safety Certificate

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, as well as operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
• The candidates should be able to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, place dishes in storage areas, and package take-out food
• The candidates should be able to serve customers at counters or buffet tables, stock refrigerators and salad bars, and take customers’ orders
• The candidates should be able to use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, and handle and store cleaning products
• The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
• The candidates should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used, remove kitchen garbage and trash, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
• The candidates should be able to wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
