Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and work effectively under pressure
• The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required, be comfortable with repetitive tasks, and be able to stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidate should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas, set tables, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
• The candidate should be able to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, waste disposal units, and the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
• The candidate should be able to load buspans and trays, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and place dishes in storage areas
• The candidate should be able to replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, and scour pots and pans
• The candidate should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used, package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
• The candidate should be able to serve customers at counters or buffet tables, stock refrigerators and salad bars, and take customers’ orders
• The candidate should be able to use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, handle and store cleaning products, and remove kitchen garbage and trash
• The candidate should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
