Therapeutic Riding Association of Ottawa-Carleton Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities through therapeutic horseback riding programs. By harnessing the unique benefits of equine-assisted therapy, they provide opportunities for physical, emotional, and cognitive growth in a safe and supportive environment. With certified instructors and specially trained horses, the association offers personalized riding sessions tailored to the needs of each participant. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $17.00 hourly for 30 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Student status: Full-time enrollment
Area of specialization: Horses
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and in dusty environments, including all weather conditions
- The candidates should be involved in other miscellaneous animal farming tasks and comfortable with dirtiness as part of the work environment
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
