Gray & Son Limited established an egg grading station in the very competitive Southwestern Ontario egg market. Our mission has been to provide Ontario families with quality eggs. We are proud to partner with Ontario egg farmers to bring Ontario families local fresh, Foodland Ontario certified eggs. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $19.35 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent employment
Location: Moorefield, ON
Shifts: Day, Weekend, On Call, Early Morning and Morning
Work setting: Willing to relocate and rural area
Work site environment: Candidates should work in layer poultry farming and dusty place
Transportation/travel information: Own transportation required
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks, pay attention to detail, stand for extended periods, walk and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should have hand-eye co-ordination
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment and also in an organized way
- The candidate should be someone who can judge and also a team player
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidate should have experience of automated systems like Manure handling and storage and also Egg gathering system
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to feed inventory and also monitoring animal health
- The candidate should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry and also set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops
