Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure
- The candidates should be physically fit to meet the demands of a physically demanding job
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client-focused, organized, and reliable
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to organize and set up the bar, clean the bar area, and wash glassware
- The candidates should be able to advise on wine selection and inform customers regarding the contents of cocktails or other drinks
- The candidates should be able to collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment for beverages, operate a cash register, prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
- The candidates should be able to take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
