Salary: $17.00 to $19.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 year to less than 2 years

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to organize and set up the bar, engage in short-order cooking and food preparation, and clean the bar area and wash glassware
  • The candidates should be able to serve food or snacks, clean the draft beer system, hire and dismiss staff, and advise on wine selection
  • The candidates should be able to supervise food and beverage servers and other staff, inform customers regarding the contents of cocktails or other drinks, and schedule and train staff
  • The candidates should be able to collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment for beverages, operate the cash register, and record and balance beverage sales
  • The candidates should be able to store beverage and food products, order bar stock, and maintain inventory and control of bar stock
  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages, take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons, and resolve conflict situations
