Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On Call, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials: Smart Serve
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to organize and set up the bar efficiently, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available, and clean the bar area and wash glassware regularly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- The candidates should be able to advise customers on wine selection, providing recommendations based on their preferences and menu offerings, and inform customers about the contents of cocktails or other drinks accurately, including ingredients and possible allergens
- The candidates should be able to collect payment for beverages from customers securely and accurately, operate the cash register effectively, and address customers’ complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to maintain satisfaction
- The candidates should enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to ensure compliance and promote responsible alcohol service, prepare mixed drinks, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and preferences, and take beverage orders accurately and fulfill requests in a timely manner
