Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Serving It Right CertificateÂ
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure and be prepared for physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client-focused and demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should possess excellent oral communication skills and demonstrate initiative
- The candidates should be reliable team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean the bar area, wash glassware, and clean the draft beer system
- The candidates should be able to serve food or snacks and advise on wine selection
- The candidates should be able to supervise food and beverage servers and other staff, provide recommendations on drink selections, and collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment for beverages
- The candidates should be able to operate the cash register, record and balance beverage sales, and store beverage and food products
- The candidates should be able to order bar stock, maintain inventory and control of bar stock, and address customers’ complaints or concerns
- The candidates should be able to enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages, and take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
