Salary: $15.30 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 25 to 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On Call, Morning
Work setting: Lounge or night club

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Credentials: Serving It Safe program certification and Serving It Right Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and excellent oral communication
  • The candidates should show initiative, be organized, and be reliable
  • The candidates should be a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to arrange the bar area to make attractive displays, organize the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar, and clean the bar area and wash glassware
  • The candidates should be able to provide recommendations on drink selections, collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment for beverages, and operate a cash register.
  • The candidates should be able to operate a video lottery terminal, record and balance beverage sales, and store beverage and food products
  • The candidates should be able to order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • The candidates should be able to prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft, or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages, take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons, and resolve conflict situations
