Salary: $18.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 35 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time

Shifts: Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Rural area and Staff accommodation available
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Beef cattle
Equipment and machinery experience: Feeding and watering system, Seed drill, Tractor, Tillage equipment, Planting equipment, Haying equipment, Hand tools, Farm truck, Forklift
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and Gloves
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, corn farming, and hay farming, with a preference for work in outdoor and livestock-related settings
- The candidates should be physically fit to meet physically demanding requirements, perform bending, crouching, kneeling, strong attention to detail, work overtime as required
- The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks, capable of handling heavy loads and stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills, be organized, team player, flexible, reliable and a quick learner
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to calve, manage feed inventory, handle animals, perform livestock branding and monitor animal health and carry out weaning
- The candidates should be able to provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting
- The candidates should be able to execute a pasture or pen breeding program, maintain livestock performance records and recognize and treat certain livestock health problems
- The candidates should be able to maintain work records and logs, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, perform general farm duties and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens and write daily basic progress reports
