Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have previous sales experience and use of Point of Sale (POS) applications
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- The candidates should be able to withstand brief periods of exposure to extreme weather conditions on resort (cold, wind, snow and altitude), and can lift at least 20 pounds
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in a customer service role, preferably in a rental or retail establishment and cash handling experience
- The candidates should be passionate about biking, and technical knowledge is a bonus
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist guests with sizing and fitting appropriate mountain bike equipment while maximizing comfort and safety
- The candidates should be able to ensure guest safety by completing waivers for all rentals and describing the safe use of rental equipment
- The candidates should be able to provide a consistent friendly and approachable demeanor for customers
- The candidates should be able to handle cash, including cash balancing, coin orders, and opening and closing duties
- The candidates should be able to clean gear, bikes, and maintain tidiness and organization of the store
- The candidates should be able to sell retail products in-store, including clothing, bike parts, and other items
- The candidates should be able to work flexible shifts with varying hours, depending on factors such as weather and visitation levels
