Salary: $18.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: St. Catharines, ON
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Construction, marine works, millwork/pre-fab shopwork, and residential
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Tools
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in confined spaces and dusty environments
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, and able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be prepared to handle a large workload and be able to meet tight deadlines
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and have excellent oral and written communication skills
- The candidates should exhibit good judgment and demonstrate reliability
- The candidates should be a team player and uphold values and ethics
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, and fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
