Salary: $16.55 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: 145 Queens Quay West Toronto, ON M5J 2H4
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On Call, Flexible Hours, Morning
Work setting: Urban area

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Driver-guide, local, Sightseeing, Boat tours

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, efficiently working under pressure and adept at meeting tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be physically capable of handling demanding tasks, with a keen attention to detail, and adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • The candidates should be capable of standing for extended periods and comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong focus on client satisfaction, be highly dependable, and demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should exhibit excellent oral communication, showcase flexibility in their approach to tasks, and show initiative in their work
  • The candidates should have good judgment in decision-making, be highly organized, and be reliable in meeting commitments, emphasizing effective team player attributes

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to drive sightseeing or tour vehicles, ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of clients or guests, and describe points of interest during tours, providing informative and engaging commentary
  • The candidates should be able to develop and deliver commentaries that enhance the overall tour experience for clients or guests, utilizing microphones or other communication devices for clear and audible information delivery
  • The candidates should be able to assist clients or guests with special needs, demonstrating empathy and accommodating their requirements, and transport or escort individuals or groups on tours of cities, waterways, and industrial establishments, following designated itineraries and schedule
