Salary: $18.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time
Location: Surrey, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Bottle depot
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in environments with odours and in noisy environments
- The candidates should have the ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment, and perform repetitive tasks
- The candidates should have manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be capable of a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and handling weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate punctuality, be dependable, and display reliability
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, have excellent oral communication, and exhibit flexibility
- The candidates should show initiative and be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to check and weigh materials and products, sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products, and assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers
- The candidates should be able to perform other laboring and elemental activities and clean machines and immediate work areas
