Sexsmith Bottle Depot based in Sexsmith, AB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Bottle sorter. Sexsmith Bottle Depot plays a pivotal role in promoting environmental sustainability through responsible recycling practices. As a dedicated bottle depot, the facility serves as a community hub for the collection and recycling of beverage containers. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Safety glasses/goggles and Gloves
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in environments with odours, dust, and noise
- The candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be familiar with repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be physically capable of handling demanding tasks
- The candidates should possess hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods
- The candidates should have the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

- The candidates should be dependability, flexibility, and reliability
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills and efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should be effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment
- The candidates should be able to check and weigh materials and products
- The candidates should be able to sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products
- The candidates should be able to assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers
- The candidates should be able to perform other laboring and elemental activities
- The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas
